The Swanee Presents: Too Much Sylvia

TOO MUCH SYLVIA has been entertaining the Carolinas and Virginia since 1991.  Not playing from a “set song list” and pulling from their extensive variety of tunes, combined with their fun personalities and onstage antics, allow 2MS to adapt to the flow of the event while pushing the throttle and creating a memorable experience.  In addition to their EIGHT #1 Songs (four of those were Song of the Year w/the CBMA), a normal presentation can provide music from  Funky 70s, Retro 80s, 60s Motown, Beach, a few of the top current hits, and a little Country.  It’s even possible that dress-up "special guests" such as ZZ Topp, Village People, Pit Bull, etc will appear!!!  All this along with a 9’ LED video wall and a comfortable sound, really provides the perfect upbeat event. TOO MUCH SYLVIA features FOUR lead vocalists that are always having fun onstage – bassist, Eddy Howie with his crystal clear voice, guitarist Steve Long’s funky, soul sound, and keyboardist, Rick Lee’s scratchy rock & roll, pretty much has the vocal styles covered.  Their vocal harmonies are a major part of the 2MS sound.  Combining all the above, with their tight, tasteful musical arrangements and Drummer Don Leonard’s rhythms, makes the groove appealing to everyone, young and old!   Be there, you’ll be glad you did!
