Musical Journey: Leah, hailing from Swansboro, North Carolina, embarked on her musical journey as a young teen, finding her voice in her church choir. She soon picked up the guitar and began honing her songwriting skills. Bryan, originally from Hildebran, NC, started singing in Southern Gospel quartets, which instilled in him a profound appreciation for vocal harmonies.

North Carolina Roots: Velvet Rodeo's story begins in the heart of North Carolina, where the duo joined forces approximately four years ago. Their shared passion for music, coupled with Leah's captivating vocals and Bryan's love for harmonies, laid the foundation for what would become Velvet Rodeo.

The Nashville Move: In 2022, Velvet Rodeo took a leap of faith and made the pivotal move to Nashville, Tennessee. Immersing themselves in the vibrant creative community of Music City, they embraced the city's culture, donned their boots, and made an indelible mark. They secured multiple coveted Broadway residencies, including Nudie's and Second Fiddle, while gracing the stages of renowned venues like The Stage and Legends.
